The city of Udaipur is a lovely land around the Azure water lakes hemmed in by the lush hills of the Aravails. Udaipur also known as the City of Lakes is a city in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is located 403 kilometers (250 miles) southwest of the state capital, Jaipur and 250 kilometers (155 miles) northeast from Ahmedabad. Udaipur was the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar in Rajputana Agency.
